This is the part of medicine that deals with chronic diseases, complicated cases, ailments that affect several organs or systems.
It finds its place between general medicine (emergencies) and specialties of organs or systems.
It uses several tools:
- The review of the history
- A signed clinical examination
- Additional examinations: blood tests, ultrasound, fibroscopy...
- The CECBA is equipped for all these examinations.
- Consultations or examinations are made systematically by appointment.
